The Rare JLC Sector Dial Day Date
Today we are offering one of the rarest Jaeger Le Coultre watches – the early double calendar watch with French day window and outer date track. The beautiful sector dial remains in stunning original condition with vibrant red outer date track, which is complemented by a red-text day disk and red-tipped centre-sweep date hand. The blued-steel hands are in perfect condition as is the seconds hand in the small seconds dial in the lower half of the dial. The steel case is manufactured from Staybrite steel, an early corrosion resistant steel alloy used by the Swiss matchmaking industry in the 1930s and 40s. First wristwatch ever with an Calender function! The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and will come with a Bulang and Sons strap as seen in the photographs.
